Support Our Program

Our Need

Though we are proud to say that our consistently high ticket sales driven by excellent shows appropriate for the whole family and entertaining provide the bulk of our funding, we also wish to emphasize that the cost of mounting these productions has increased dramatically. 

What We Provide

We directly involve dozens of students as cast members, pit members, backstage crew, production assistants, prop/set workers, and a variety of other roles which all culminate to provide an artistic experience that offers great impact on these students' lives. Your monetary contribution signifies your understanding of this purpose, and solidifies the ability of Hastings High School to provide this incredible experience. Please consider giving to this program to ensure not just that it survives, but that it thrives. 

Use of Past Contributions

-Flying effects and a four day training with a flying professional from ZFX (2023 The Wizard of Oz)

-The projector from Broadway Media (2023 the Wizard of Oz)

-Improved Microphones and Microphone Packs

-High quality sets and costume rentals from professional companies

-Materials for high quality set building 

-Hiring a half dozen staff members and as many pit musicians

-New special effects such a snow machine, bubble machine, fog machines, pyrotechnic guns, etc.
